Kundapur, Sep 16: Moodlakatte Institute of Technology Kundapur celebrated Engineers Day.

The programme was inaugurated by Siddarth J Shetty, president of the Institute, by offering the garland to the statue of Visvesvaraya and conveyed his wishes.

Dr Melwin D’Souza, addressing the gathering during the formal event, stated that "We should all adopt Visvesvaraya's lifestyle and become a better human being along with the technical knowledge."

Brand building director and principal of the college, Dr.= Ramakrishna Hegde, called on the students that the path walked by Visvesvaraya is an example for us all, and we should think creatively and achieve like him.

The event was then followed by a prize distribution ceremony for the winners of “Engineering Wonders of India” competition held on the occasion of Engineers Day.

Karthikeyan, program coordinator and head of Data Science Department compered the event. Student Shreya Upadyaya welcomed the gathering. Dharshan delivered the vote of thanks.
