Lucknow, Sep 15: A shocking case of road rage in Lucknow has triggered public outrage after a viral video showed a woman slapping a pizza delivery agent and demanding Rs 30,000 compensation for a minor collision on a busy street Saturday.

The incident unfolded when the delivery rider’s two-wheeler allegedly grazed the woman’s car. In the footage, the woman can be seen slapping the rider, snatching at his phone, and berating him for his driving. She repeatedly demanded money and warned of police action if he did not pay up.

The startled delivery agent tried to explain but was overpowered in the heated exchange. Fellow riders soon arrived to defuse the situation, while bystanders recorded the confrontation. One onlooker reminded the woman, “You don’t have the right to slap anyone,” but she insisted the rider must pay for the damage.

The video has drawn thousands of views and sharp criticism online. Social media users condemned the assault, calling it a misuse of privilege and demanding police action to protect gig workers from such harassment.
