Ananya Panday waits for Rakhi gift from brother Ahaan

Mumbai, Aug 28: Actress Ananya Panday is waiting for her Rakhi gift from her brother, actor Ahaan Panday.

Ananya took to her Instagram Stories on Friday and shared a cute selfie. Calling out to her cousin brother, she added the text: “Waiting to get my Rakhi present @ahaanpandayy (sic).”

However, Ahaan is yet to respond to his elder sister’s latest social media post.

Ananya and Ahaan share a close sibling bond and are often seen featuring in each other’s social media posts. The CTRL actress has also frequently cheered for Ahaan and supported his acting career.

In December last year, Ananya described Ahaan as the “light of my life” in a heartfelt birthday post.

The actress shared a throwback video of the two from their childhood on her official Instagram Stories and wrote: “Happy birtday the light of my life my heart literally bursts with how proud I am of you... you deserve the world I love you forever my star @ahaanpandayy. (sic)”

Ananya also celebrated Ahaan’s acting debut with Mohit Suri’s Saiyaara.

Following the film’s release, the proud elder sister declared that “a star is born” and shared a picture of herself posing with Ahaan beside a poster of the film.

In another picture from the post, the Kesari: Chapter 2 actress was seen smiling with an “Ahaan Panday Fan Club” sticker on her forehead.

“A star is born my Saiyaara @ahaanpandayy,” Ananya wrote in the caption.

Ananya’s Bollywood journey

On the professional front, Ananya made her Bollywood debut in 2019 with Student of the Year 2, alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria.

She subsequently appeared in films including Pati Patni Aur Woh, Khaali Peeli, Liger and Dream Girl 2.
