Mangaluru, Sep 13: SJEC women’s shuttle badminton team created history by securing the winners trophy in the VTU state level shuttle badminton tournament held at PSCE, Mandya on September 11 and 12. Trivia Creda Veigas of III-year, department of computer science and engineering was awarded the best women player of the tournament.
The teams showcased remarkable skill and determination under the guidance of Vaneesha V Rodrigues, Physical Education Director (PED), and Sudheer, assistant PED.
The winning squads featured talented players from both UG programmes: Trivia Creda Veigas (5th sem CSE), Trisha Clarice Veigas (7th sem CSDS), Crystal Dafney Montero (3rd sem CSDS).
The management of SJEC have congratulated the team and the physical education directors for bringing laurels to the institution with this outstanding achievement.
