Mangaluru, Sep 12: Members of cooperatives across Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts will hold the Dharma Jagruthi Yatre, led by SCDCC Bank president Dr M N Rajendra Kumar, on September 14 to condemn the conspiracy to defame Dharmasthala, informed SCDCC Bank director Shashikumar Rai.
Over 1,500 cooperative organisations and 3,000 vehicles will be part of the Dharma Jagruthi Yatre. He urged everyone, irrespective of religion and political affiliation, to participate in the yatre. The rally will be taken out from Ujire to Dharmasthala.



The yatre will be held against the conspirators who defamed Dharmasthala temple. Members of cooperative sectors live in harmony, and the sector has respect towards Dharmasthala. Through the rally, they aim to send a clear message to the conspirators. Dharmasthala has contributed immensely to the fields of education and health, and it is condemnable to defame a religious place like Dharmasthala, he added.
