Udupi, Sep 9: Shutterbox Helping Hands, led by a popular social media influencer Sachin Shetty said they will raise funds to help a poor family residing in Palli, Karkala, during Krishna Janmashtami in Udupi.
Addressing the press conference held on September 8, Sudeep Shetty, said, “The team has been carrying out noble service activities for the past three years by donning costumes during Sri Krishna Janmashtami and raising funds to support the needy. This year the team will be donning costumes as a Bollywood character and raising funds to help the poor family to construct a 2 BHK house.”
In 2023, the team successfully collected and donated Rs 10 lacs for the treatment of a young girl and in 2024 the team collected Rs 15 lacs for Hosabelaku Ashram, Bailoor. This year the team has taken up the mission of helping a poor family in Palli Karkala, by constructing a 2 BHK house for the family.
On September 14 during Udupi Sri Krishna Janmashtami, the Shutterbox Helping Hands team will be visiting households in costumes to collect donations towards constructing a home for this family.
The press conference was attended by Sachin Shetty, Nithesh Poojary, Chetan Kumar, Abhishek and Reknath.
