Mangaluru: Aloysius College Primary School celebrates Teachers’ Day

Mangaluru, Sep 6: The Teachers’ Day celebration at Aloysius College Primary School was held on September 4, organized by the PTA and the students with great enthusiasm and respect for teachers.

As the school band played the welcome note, the school cabinet and the PTA ushered the teachers. The programme commenced with a prayer song by the students of class 3, invoking God’s blessings. Sameena Khatija welcomed the gathering.

A special highlight of the programme was the presence of retired teachers, who were warmly invited and honored recalling their commendable service to the institution.

It was a delightful moment when the PTA members performed a graceful dance, followed by a wishing song and fun-filled games for the teachers. The students also showcased their talents through lively dances and songs, highlighting the invaluable role teachers play in shaping young minds and guiding them with wisdom. The heartfelt messages and creative presentations brought joy and pride to all the teachers.

A note of gratitude and appreciation was expressed by the PTA members for their dedication and hard work, acknowledging the role in moulding young minds into responsible individuals. A floral greeting by the student cabinet was touchy. The atmosphere was filled with warmth, laughter and a strong bond of love between teachers, students and the retired faculty.

In his message, Fr Johnson Pinto SJ truly thanked the PTA and the students for their efforts in putting up a meaningful programme. He also acknowledged the presence of the retired faculty of the school.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Deepsika D’Souza - the secretary of the PTA. A delicious lunch was served to all the students, marking the perfect end to the celebration.

The PTA vice president - Mohammad Iqbal and his team put up this show along with the students. Fr Johnson Pinto SJ - the correspondent, Jositta Noronha - the headmistress, assistant headmaster - Liya D’Souza, PTA vice president - Mohammad Iqbal and the retired faculty of the school were present at the programme.

Overall, the celebration was a true expression of respect, admiration and love for teachers, making it a cherished day for everyone at Aloysius College Primary School.
