Kasargod, Sep 5: The body of a woman was found in a well at Miyapadavu Adkadaguri near Manjeshwar on Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as Irene D’Souza (60) of Adkadaguri.
According to family members, Irene, who went to bed on Wednesday night, was found missing the next morning.
A search led to the discovery of her body in the well located in the courtyard of the house.
Fire and rescue personnel retrieved the body, and Manjeshwar police conducted the inquest.
