PWD minister Digambar Kamat to assume office on Wednesday after 13-year gap

Margao, Sep 2: Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Digambar Kamat will officially take charge of his office on Wednesday.

While Forest Minister Ramesh Tawadkar assumed his responsibilities at the Mantralaya ahead of Ganesh Chaturthi, Kamat is yet to step into his new role.

The ministerial portfolios were announced on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Kamat’s assumption of office marks his return to the PWD portfolio after a gap of 13 years.
