Old Goa bypass tragedy: 32-year-old Marcela resident succumbs to accident injuries

Old Goa, Sep 2: A 32-year-old man, identified as Mahesh Chandrashekar Angadi from Mestwada, Boma, Marcela, lost his life on Sunday after succumbing to injuries sustained in a road mishap.

According to police, the accident occurred on August 29 near DG Mart on the Kadamba bypass road at Old Goa, when Angadi’s car collided with a parked container vehicle.

He was admitted to Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMC), Bambolim, where he was under treatment. Despite efforts by doctors, he passed away on September 1.

Police have registered a case and further investigation is underway.
