New Delhi, Sep 2: Quiz-based reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 continues to entertain viewers with gripping moments and engaging conversations under the charismatic presence of host Amitabh Bachchan.

In the latest episode, Aditya Joshi, a young contestant from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, impressed the audience and the megastar with his knowledge and confidence as he sailed through the initial 11 questions with ease. However, his dream run came to a halt at the 12th question, valued at Rs 12.5 lac, forcing him to quit the game and settle with prize money of Rs 7.5 lac.

The challenging question that put Joshi in a dilemma was: “In 2025, the Council of the European Union approved which country to become the 21st member to adopt the ‘Euro’ as its currency?” The options given were: A. Romania, B. Georgia, C. Serbia, and D. Bulgaria.

The correct answer was Bulgaria, which has been granted approval by the Council of the European Union to officially adopt the Euro from January 1, 2026, becoming the 21st member of the eurozone.

During his stint on the hot seat, Aditya shared a light-hearted exchange with Amitabh Bachchan, revealing that his fashion sense was inspired by the actor himself. “Ek ek look aap se inspired hai, Sir,” Joshi said, earning a warm smile from Bachchan, who complimented his outfit and joked, “Line lagne wali hai aapke ghar ke bahar.”

Despite missing out on the bigger prize, Aditya Joshi’s charm, wit, and humility won the hearts of the audience.
