Tehran, Aug 30: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Friday stated that while Iran does not seek war, it will respond ‘forcefully’ if attacked by the United States or Israel.

In a pre-recorded television interview, Pezeshkian said, “America and Israel seek to divide and destroy Iran, but no Iranian wants Iran to be divided.”

The remarks underscore Tehran’s firm stance amid rising regional tensions with Washington and Tel Aviv.
