Panaji, Aug 27: This Ganesh Chaturthi, the historic Fonte Phoenix Spring at Mala has turned into a centre of attraction as youth organisation Yuva unveiled a unique Ganpati dekhava, reimagining Lord Ganesha as Lord Vitthal.
The thematic display narrates the legendary tale of Sant Gora Kumbhar, a humble potter whose unshakable devotion compelled Lord Vitthal to manifest before him. Using voice-controlled interactivity, lighting effects, and ambient soundscapes, the dekhava brings the spiritual story alive with a modern touch.

Adding to the experience, the underground tunnel at the Mala spring has been transformed into an art gallery showcasing more than 80 paintings of revered saints.
Speaking on the occasion, Yuva founding member Raghuvir Mahale said, “We wanted to combine tradition with technology to inspire today’s generation with timeless stories of devotion.”
The innovative presentation has drawn large crowds, with devotees praising it as one of the most captivating Ganesh Chaturthi attractions in Panaji this year.
