Mangaluru, Aug 26: Lourdes Central School's students shined at the AICS Chess Tournament – 2025, organised by the ICSE and CBSE Schools Association of Dakshina Kannada, was hosted at St Agnes School, Mangaluru.
In the U-17 mixed team category, the champions were Shriyana S Mallya, Advaith U P, Shradha S Rai, and Rudra Rajeev. The board prize was bagged by Rudra Rajeev, Advaith U P and Shriyana S Mallya.
In the U-14 mixed team category, the winners were Aadhdya A Shetty, Aayiu Atindrya Shetty, A Advika, and Pruthvij V. The board prize went to Aayiu Atindrya Shetty and A Advika.
The event highlighted the exceptional skills of budding chess players who displayed remarkable talent and brought laurels to their schools.
