Mangaluru: Inauguration ceremony of life skill add-on courses 2025-26 held at Milagres College

Mangaluru, Aug 22: The inauguration ceremony of life skill-based add-on courses organized by the IQAC department of Milagres College, Mangaluru, was held on August 21, 2025 in the college auditorium.

Inaugurating the programme, Peter Anthony Pinto, founder of AFA Pvt Ltd, senior insurance and mutual fund distributor said that in today’s competitive world, life skills are extremely important, and it is essential for everyone to learn them. He appreciated Milagres Institutions for undertaking such a valuable initiative for the future of students.

The resource persons for the life skill-based add-on courses included Yoga Guru Delampady Gopal Krishna – Yoga, CA Dylan Rebello – GST, Dr Diana – first aid, Rajeev K Shenoy – photography, Flany D’Souza – beautician, Preksha Tej – event management, Gagan – dance, Harin Rao – craft and embroidery, Dr Alwyn Serrao – soft skills, Rekha Gopal – homestead skills, Akshith – journalism, Johan Pinto – personal investment, Jessica Almeida – spoken English, Clyde – culinary arts, Frencita and Rohita – basic computer & tally, among others.

Shravya, lecturer welcomed the gathering. Jessica Almeida, lecturer compered the programme. Chaitra, the coordinator of the add-on courses, proposed the vote of thanks.
