Karkala: 16 students from Christking School picked for district football tournament

Karkala, Aug 16: Girls team of Christking English Medium Primary School and five members of the boys team have been selected for the district-level football competitions.

The selections were made during the Karkala taluk-level football competitions held at B C Alva ground Nitte under the aegis of School education department, BEO office Karkala, Jaycees institutions Karkala.

A total of 16 students has been selected for the district-level tournament. The girls team of Christking English Medium School won the first place and was selected for the district-level. The boys team won the second place and five students were selected for the district-level.
