Sandra Lucica Lobo appointed in-charge headmistress of St Lawrence English Medium School, Moodubelle

Udupi, Aug 11: The Catholic Educational Society of Udupi Diocese (CESU) has appointed Sandra Lucica Lobo (M.A., B.Ed.) as the in-charge headmistress of St Lawrence English Medium School, Moodubelle, with effect from August 11.

Lobo has 19 years of experience as a primary and high school teacher, working closely with students, parents and staff to create a disciplined, nurturing and effective learning environment. Known for her dedication, leadership and student-centred approach, she has inspired many young minds towards academic and personal growth.

The appointment was made on the recommendation of George Thomas D’Souza, correspondent of St Lawrence Educational Institutions. The announcement was made during the school assembly by D’Souza, who welcomed Lobo and wished her success in her new role.

The occasion was attended by administrator CA Pritish Burton D’Sa and managing committee members Ivan Menezes, Joel D’Sa and Precilla Lobo. Teaching and non-teaching staff joined in congratulating the new headmistress.

In her address, Lobo thanked CESU, the correspondent and the school management for the trust placed in her, and pledged to uphold the school’s mission of providing quality, value-based education while encouraging innovation and creativity in learning.

With her vision and experience, the school community expressed confidence in achieving new milestones under her leadership.
