Mumbai, Aug 6: The inauguration of the 25th branch of Shiva’s Hair Designers has marked a significant milestone in the hairdressing industry. National Award-winning filmmaker and Padma Shri recipient Madhur Bhandarkar, who inaugurated the luxury salon and lounge Shiva's Signature Salon at Neel Shobha Housing Society building, Gundavali, Andheri East, on Tuesday evening, praised the vision and perseverance of Shivaram Bhandary.
He described Shivaram as an extraordinary hairstylist with great foresight from a young age. “His relentless efforts have brought him this far. Just as the brand has spread across Mumbai, I wish it expands nationwide. Shivaram Bhandari is truly a shining star in the hairdressing industry. His simplicity, gentle nature, and warm, loyal client relationships are the key to his success,” Bhandarkar stated.
The inaugural ceremony of the 25th branch of Shiva’s Hair Designers Pvt Ltd, under the leadership of Karkala-based celebrity hair expert Dr Shivaram Krishna Bhandary, witnessed the presence of several notable guests. Bollywood actress Ihana Dhillon, former MP of Mumbai South Central Rahul R Shewale, Ashok Dharmar, Ranjit S Bhandary (President, Bhandary Seva Samiti Mumbai), former president and advocate Shekhar S Bhandary, and other dignitaries graced the event and offered their best wishes.
Dr Shivaram K Bhandary, along with his wife Anushree and daughter Aradhya Bhandary, lit the ceremonial lamp before their family deity, Shri Kachuru Nageshwara Deva. They also fondly remembered the late matriarch, Gulabi K Bhandary, and hosted the puja rituals.
Vedic scholar Nagaraj Bhat of Dharegudde performed the vastu puja and Satyanarayana Mahapuja, followed by distribution of teertha prasada to all attendees.
Former photographer Gopal Shetty, salon presenter, and several well-wishers including Raghav V Bhandary, Shweta R Bhandary, Melissa D’Costa, Ravi Bhandary, Rohit Bhandary, Mayur Parlewar, and Mohammad Ilyas were present and extended their greetings. Dr Vinod Chopra, CEO of the company, welcomed and felicitated the dignitaries.
