NEET UG 2025 counselling registration closes on Tuseday, Aug 4

New Delhi, Aug 4: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will close the extended registration window for NEET UG 2025 counselling today, August 3, at 1 pm. Candidates can complete the registration process at mcc.nic.in.

As per the revised schedule, fee payment for the first round is allowed till 4 pm today, while the choice filling window remains open till 11:59 pm on August 4. Candidates will be able to lock their choices between 4 pm and 11:59 pm tomorrow.

MCC will process seat allotments on August 5, and the results for the first round will be declared on August 6. Those allotted seats must report to the respective institutions between August 7 and 11.

This year, NEET UG counselling includes three rounds followed by a stray vacancy round. With the extension in the first round, further changes to the overall counselling schedule are possible.

Aspirants are advised to stay updated through the MCC website and carefully read the NEET UG information bulletin before applying.

MCC conducts NEET UG counselling for:

• 15% All India Quota seats (except J&K, subject to their participation)
• 100% seats of BHU, AMU, AIIMS, JIPMER (Puducherry/Karaikal)
• 85% state quota seats of Delhi University, IP University (VMMC, ABVIMS, ESIC Dental)
• 100% Faculty of Dentistry seats in Jamia Millia Islamia with 5% internal quota
• 15% IP quota seats of ESIC institutions
