Mangaluru, Jul 31: The inauguration of the Bunny Movement took place on July 30 at St Aloysius Pre Primary School, marked by a meaningful and value-based celebration. The chief guest for the event was Felcy Zeena Fernandes, district guide commissioner for adult resource, assistant district commissioner, Mangaluru North.
LT guide, graced the occasion along with Fr Johnson Pinto SJ, the correspondent, headmistress Jositta Noronha, PTA vice president Mohammed Iqbal, and Bunny coordinator Ranjitha.















The event commenced with a soulful prayer song rendered by the scouts and guides followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. A significant moment of the day was the Bunny oath ceremony, sworn by the Bunnies to uphold the values and spirit of the movement.
In her address, chief guest Felcy Zeena Fernandes emphasized the importance of instilling in children the love for God, nature and each other, encouraging them to always wear a smile and embrace the joy of togetherness.
Fr Johnson Pinto SJ, in his message, highlighted the historical significance of the day, noting that this was the first time the Bunny Movement was being introduced in the institution. He urged students to live by strong values and work towards becoming responsible individuals.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks and refreshments to all present.
