Dhule, Jul 27: A terrifying road accident was caught on CCTV near Palasner village in Shirpur Taluka of Maharashtra’s Dhule district on Saturday afternoon, as a speeding trolley crashed into a truck loaded with apples on the Mumbai-Agra Highway.

The mishap occurred around 12:30 pm when the trolley, reportedly moving at high speed, failed to slow down near a speed breaker. Losing control, it rammed into the rear of the truck, causing a massive impact that left two people critically injured.

Local residents rushed to the spot and helped shift the injured victims to the government hospital in Shirpur, where they remain in critical condition.

CCTV footage of the accident, now circulating widely on social media, shows the trolley slamming into the truck from behind. A Bolero and another truck narrowly avoided the crash.

The incident has once again raised concerns about speeding and lack of caution near speed breakers on national highways.
