Mangaluru: Creative veggie art lights up Green Day at Carmel School

Media Release

Mangaluru, Jul 19: As part of the Green Day celebrations, Carmel School’s KG section hosted a lively and imaginative creative vegetable art competition to spark artistic expression and encourage active parent participation. The event beautifully combined the themes of creativity, collaboration, and healthy living.

The competition was graciously inaugurated by Sr Rosevera, the principal, who extended a warm welcome to all parents, teachers, and guests present for the occasion. Her encouraging words set a cheerful tone for the event.

A total of five enthusiastic parent teams, each comprising three members, took up the creative challenge. After the formal commencement, team leaders collected their team numbers and proceeded to their workstations, ready to turn fresh vegetables into works of art.

With a time limit of 45 minutes, the venue buzzed with excitement as participants skillfully carved, assembled, and arranged vegetables into visually stunning creations. From vibrant floral displays to imaginative figures, each piece reflected the artistic flair, teamwork, and passion of the parents involved.

The event was a heartwarming reminder that simple materials and shared moments can lead to extraordinary results. It also reinforced the importance of healthy, sustainable choices, even through playful creativity.

All teams were applauded for their dedication and enthusiasm, making the competition a delightful success and a memorable part of the Green Day festivities.
