Mangaluru/Bantwal/Kadaba, July 15: Following continuous heavy rainfall in various parts of Dakshina Kannada district, authorities in three taluks—Bantwal, Kadaba, and Ullal—have declared a holiday for all schools on Monday, July 15.
As a precautionary measure, all Anganwadi centres, government, aided, and private primary and high schools in the three taluks will remain closed for the day.
The respective tahsildars of Bantwal, Kadaba, and Ullal issued the announcements in view of the incessant rain affecting normal life and transport. The holiday has been declared to ensure the safety of students and staff.
