Mangaluru: Fuddar Prathisttan's community empowerment programme strengthens 75 beneficiaries

Mangaluru, Jul 6: Fuddar Prathisttan, in collaboration, Community Empowerment Trust under the aegis of MCC Bank Ltd, organized a career guidance, government scheme awareness, and community empowerment programme at the PFX Saldanha Auditorium, MCC Bank Ltd, Mangaluru.

The programme was formally inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by Anil Lobo, chairman, MCC Bank Ltd, marking the commencement of a day dedicated to knowledge, inspiration, and community development. Distinguished guests on the dais Included Nigel Pereira, president, Fuddar Prathisttan, Vivid D’Souza, secretary, Fuddar Prathisttan, Anil Lobo, chairman, MCC Bank Ltd, Mangaluru, Walter Nandalike, founder, Daijiworld Media Pvt Ltd, Prof Ronald Pinto, director, Institute for individual development and Celestine D’Souza, managing trustee, Community Empowerment Trust.

The first session was led by Prof Ronald Pinto, director of the Institute for Individual Development, Mangaluru. He provided valuable insights into various career pathways and competitive examinations, elaborating on the scope and significance of public sector jobs. His guidance served as a beacon for aspiring candidates aiming to make their mark in government services.

In the second session, Walter Nandalike, founder of Daijiworld Media Pvt Ltd, delivered a powerful presentation on the presence and potential of the Catholic community in the government sector. He emphasized the importance of securing government positions and the wide-ranging benefits associated with them, encouraging the community to pursue such opportunities with confidence and commitment.

The third and final session featured Mohammed Nazeer, a resource person from the Minority Development Office, Mangaluru. He highlighted various government-sponsored scholarships, educational loans, and welfare schemes available for minority communities. His talk was both informative and empowering, particularly for the students and young professionals.

The event was efficiently compered by Lizzy Pinto, ensuring a smooth flow of the programme. Vivid D’Souza proposed a vote of thanks. Approximately 75 enthusiastic beneficiaries attended the programme, gaining valuable knowledge and motivation to explore new opportunities.
