Mangaluru: First 'Skoda Kodiaq' 7-seater delivered at Chilimbi showroom with grand welcome

Mangaluru, Jun 5: The first delivery of the newly launched 7-seater "Skoda Kodiaq" took place at the Chilimbi showroom on Thursday, June 5.

Gopalakrishna Shenoy, managing director of Lamina Foundries Limited, Baikampady, became the first proud owner of the brand-new Skoda Kodiaq.

Kiran Suvarna, sales head for Mangaluru, Udupi, and Shivamogga, handed over the keys to Shenoy, followed by a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony.

Expressing his delight, Shenoy said he was thrilled to be the first customer and appreciated the features and build quality of the newly launched "Skoda Kodiaq".

Key features and details:

  • Engine: 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine with 201 bhp and 320 Nm torque.

  • Transmission: 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.

  • Drive: All-wheel drive (4x4) is standard.

  • Variants: Sportline and Selection L&K.

  • Price: Starts at Rs 46.89 lakh (ex-showroom), according to CarDekho and CarWale.

Exterior: Updated bumpers, LED headlamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, C-shaped LED tail-lamps, roof rails, and an illuminated front grille.

Interior: 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10-inch digital driver’s display, three-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, and heated, ventilated, and massaging front seats.
