Dubai, Jun 5: In a special move to ease travel and enhance public convenience during Eid Al Adha 2025, Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a series of service adjustments, including free public parking, extended metro and tram operations, and revised bus schedules from June 4 to June 8.
These changes are aimed at ensuring a smooth holiday experience for both residents and visitors during the festive period.
In a welcome move for motorists, public parking will be free of charge from June 5 to June 8, the RTA confirmed. However, this exemption does not apply to multi-level parking terminals, which will continue to operate on a paid basis.

To accommodate increased travel during the holidays, the RTA has announced extended hours for Dubai Metro and Tram services:
• Dubai Metro (Red & Green Lines):
June 4 to June 7 – Operates from 5:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)
• Dubai Tram:
June 4 to June 7 – Operates from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM (next day)
For Dubai Bus services, regular schedules will remain in place. However, the RTA advises commuters to check real-time updates on the S’hail app for any route-specific changes.
• Route E100 (Al Ghubaiba to Abu Dhabi): Suspended from June 4 to June 8
• Alternative: Use Route E101 from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi
• Route E102: Will operate directly from Al Jafiliya to Zayed International Airport, skipping Ibn Battuta and Musaffah
All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will remain closed during the Eid break. However, the following Smart Customer Happiness Centres will operate 24/7 throughout the holiday:
• Umm Ramool
• Deira
• Al Barsha
• RTA Head Office
• All service provider centres will be closed from June 5 to June 7
