Mangaluru, May 31: Mangaluru International Airport said it has been awarded the prestigious International Safety Award 2025 in the Distinction category. The airport's application scored an impressive 51 out of 55, reflecting its unwavering commitment to safety excellence. The Airport is among the 117 Indian sites spread across businesses that have been ranked in the highest distinction category.

The International Safety Award, presented by the British Safety Council, recognises organisations that have demonstrated a strong dedication to maintaining high standards of health and safety.





Mangaluru International Airport's achievement in the Distinction category highlights its continuous efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of passengers, employees, and stakeholders.

In addition to this remarkable accomplishment, British Safety Council also recognised Mangaluru International Airport as the sector best in transportation/logistics in the India Auto entry section of the awards. This recognition further underscores the airport's commitment to operational excellence and its role as a leader in the transportation and logistics sector.

    This reminds me of Deepwater Horizon disaster in Gulf of Mexico, one of the greatest environmental disasters, that happened in April 2010. Just before the disaster they had received coveted safety award!

    Congratulations !!! The Adyapady Road to Airport should be declared a Two way ... The Vast Majority ,Passengers n Visitors to the Airport have to drive 2 kms n FIVE minutes extra to enter the Airport...
