Christ King Institutions, Karkala felicitates SSLC & II PUC rank holders

Karkala, May 6: A felicitation ceremony was organised at Christ King institutions, Karkala to honour students who achieved state-level ranks in the SSLC and II PUC examinations.

In the II PUC Commerce stream, Sudiksha Shetty secured the 5th rank, Charan Raj and Narayani G Kini jointly achieved the 8th rank, and Daryl Vinol Moras bagged the 9th rank. In the Science stream, Ananth N K secured the 8th rank.

From the SSLC batch, Prakruti P Gudigar secured the 2nd rank, and Adishree M Acharya stood 8th in the state. These achievers were felicitated with a shawl during the event.

The ceremony was graced by Jayaprakash Hegde, former MP for Udupi-Chikkamagaluru constituency, as the chief guest.

Other distinguished guests included Fr Clement Mascarenhas, parish priest of Christ King Church; entrepreneur Vivekananda Shenoy; Savithri Manohar, vice president of Bharat Scouts and Guides, Karkala Taluk; Malathi Vasanthraj, former president of Karkala Jain Milan and retired English lecturer; and Humaira, president of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.

The event was presided over by Dr Peter Fernandes, member of the Christ King Education Trust. The platform also included Rudolph Kishore Lobo, headmaster of the Primary section; Josna Snehalatha, in-charge headmistress of the high school Section; and Prakash Kundar, president of the Parent-Teacher Association, among others.
