Udupi, Apr 29: Dr T M A Pai Hospital, Udupi has announced "Sample Collection at Your Door," without any service charges on home-based laboratory sample collection services from May 1 to May 31. This service will be available for all residents within a 5-kilometre distance from the hospital.

The initiative is specially designed to support elderly individuals and those who have difficulty in walking, allowing them to access essential diagnostic services without the inconvenience of traveling to the hospital for these tests.

Dr Shashikiran Umakanth, medical superintendent of Dr T M A Pai Hospital, said, "We are committed to making healthcare more accessible and patient-centred for our community. With our ‘Lab at your doorstep’ initiative, people residing within a 5-kilometre radius can have the benefit of home sample collection services with no service charges in the month of May 2025."

The hospital invites all patients and community members who require blood tests or other laboratory investigations to take advantage of this convenient service.
