Bengaluru: St Joseph's University celebrates 141st annual day

Bengaluru, May 25: St Joseph's University commemorated its 141st annual day on May 15, marking a historic transition as this is the last annual day under the revered name of St Joseph's college.

The grand event was graced by the esteemed presence of Subhakar Rao Surapaneni, chairman of Champions Group, who honoured the occasion as the chief guest. The celebrations were further dignified by the attendance of pro chancellor Fr Swebert D'Silva SJ, and vice chancellor Dr Victor Lobo SJ. The 141 annual day was coordinated by Dr Joyce D’Souza and her excellent team of staff.

The annual day celebrations were a momentous occasion, celebrating the outstanding achievements of the students and recognizing the contributions of dedicated staff members. Students were awarded for their exceptional academic performance and major accomplishments across various fields. Special recognition was given to the NSS and NCC cadets who represented the country, showcasing their dedication and patriotic spirit.
