FMHC to host 'RAJATHOTHSAVA' national homoeopathic post-graduate conference on May 18

Mangaluru, May 16: Father Muller Homeopathic Medical College (FMHC) is completing 25 years of PG course in Homoeopathy. As a part of this silver jubilee celebrations, programmes such as CME’s, Seminars, competitions were conducted in the college by all 7 PG departments throughout the year, 2023-24.

Culminating this silver jubilee celebrations, RAJATHOTHSAVA-24, national homoeopathic post graduate conference will be held on May 18 at Father Muller Auditorium, Deralakatte. Dr Sanjay Gupta, BHMS, MD (Hom), secretary, national commission for homoeopathy, government of India, New Delhi will be gracing the occasion as the chief guest. The event will be presided by Fr Richard Aloysius Coelho, director, Father Muller Charitable institutions. The conference souvenir compiling the 25 years of the PG programme will be released on this occasion.

The national postgraduate conference is expecting 250 delegates from different parts of the country. Dr Jaswant Patil, MBBS, MD (Chest), BHMS, MA (Alt Therapy), fellowship in medical yoga, will be the resource person for the conference and will be speaking to the gathering on ‘Addressing Clinical challenges through evidence-based solutions”.

Open forum paper and poster presentation for post graduate scholars of homoeopathy from all over India and post graduate alumni of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College and national level quiz for interns and post graduate students will be held on the same day. Cash prizes will be awarded to all the winners.

In April and May, activities included a souvenir cover design competition, an essay writing competition, and the Rajathothsava online quiz marathon, where over 300 teams participated. The top five teams from the quiz marathon advanced to the national quiz competition.

The valedictory programme with prize distribution for the competitions will be held at 4.30pm followed by banquet at 6.30pm. 

‘MULLER COMPLEX’ – Laying of Foundation Stone:

New commercial complex named 'Muller Complex' will be launched by laying foundation stone on May 18. Around 10000 sq ft space will be available for all the commercial and business purpose.

Inauguration of ‘AUDIOLOGY & SPEECH THERAPY’ OPD:

‘Audiology & Speech Therapy’ OPD, for children and adults of all ages, will be inaugurated on the same day.

The services available under this unit:

• New born hearing screening
• Hearing testing for senior citizen, adult & children.
• Hearing aid trial
• Trouble shooting of hearing aids
• Evaluation and management of the various speech and language disorders (misarticulation, stuttering, voice, autism, ADHD, learning disability, intellectual disability, swallowing problems)

Doctors will be available from Monday to Saturday from 9.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

    I believe that it should be permissible for doctors to participate in media briefings alongside administrators. This would allow for a more balanced and informed presentation, as well as ensure that scientific events are accurately and effectively discussed by those with expertise in the field.
