Udupi, May 8: The annual general body meeting of Udupi District Working Journalists' Association was held at IMA Bhawan, Brahmagiri, Udupi on Wednesday, May 8 under the chairmanship of president Rajesh Shetty Alevoor.
General secretary Nazeer Polya read the annual report of the association. Treasurer Umesh Marpalli presented the accounts. On this occasion, the identity cards of the association for the year 2024-25 was distributed.
Udupi District Rajyotsava awardee journalist Harish Kunder and Dattinidhi awardee journalist Natraj Malpe were felicitated. Accident insurance bonds and media stickers were distributed to the association members.
State Committee member Kiran Manjanbailu, National Committee member Arun Kumar Shiruru, vice-president Balakrishna Poojary Uchila, secretaries Rahim Ujire, Rajesh Achladi, Pramod Suvarna and other office-bearers were present on the occasion.
