Shivamogga: Jesvita D’Souza elected regional YCS/YSM president

Shivamogga, Apr 22: The Diocese of Shimoga is proud to announce the election of Jesvita D’Souza as President of Karnataka Regional YCS/YSM President for the year 2024-2026. This election was held during the Second Karnataka Regional YCS/YCM convention at Bangalore in the month of April.  Ms Jesvita D’Souza hails from St Anthony’s Parish, Hosanagara, Shivamogga. 
 




 
Hailing from a devoted and pious family, she has always been involved in youth activity from her student days. Ms Jesvita is also presented with the prestigious YUVARATHNA AWARD during the same Regional YCS/YCM Convention for her dedicated service to the Society, Diocese and to the youth in particular.  She has been an active and committed person at the Youth Conventions, in the parish and the Diocese. Her leadership qualities have been outstanding reaching out to young and old alike receiving appreciation from all.

Known as a vibrant youth leader, motivational speaker, good writer and effective in event management person, Ms Jesvita has shown her commitment to the youth ministry and zeal to involve young to create just society through the YCS/YSM methodology SEE, JUDGE and ACT has inspired many students. She has taken initiative in her parish and Diocesan activities to inspire and enthuse the young members of the Diocese. Her initiative in parish activities is well appreciated.  She is very creative in her thinking and innovative in action. The Shimoga Diocese Yuvamitra family rejoices in her great achievement and sincerely congratulates Ms Jesvita at her achievement and wish her the best in future endeavours.
