Udupi: Bus driver killed in scooter-water tanker collision

Udupi, Feb 13: A scooter rider killed on the spot after a water tanker collided with his scooter.  

Manju (40), a resident of Perampally, died in the incident.  Manju, who was a bus driver by profession, was on his way home in Perampally by scooter, when the accident occurred.

On receiving the information, social worker Nithyananda Volakadu rushed to the spot and helped to take the injured to the district hospital in his ambulance.

A case has been registered in Manipal police station.
