Mangaluru: Missing interfaith couple suspected to be married

Mangaluru, Dec 8: Prashant Bhandary (31), a resident of seventh block Katipalla near Suratkal and Ayesha (19), a resident of third block Ashraya Colony, were missing from December 1. Now Prashant’s friends have posted photographs on social media of the couple that they have got married.

Ayesha has changed her name to Akshatha. Ayesha’s father had filed complaint with Suratkal police station on the same day the couple went missing.

Ayesha’s family is native of Mundagoda of Karwar district. Her father is employed locally. The police are searching for the missing couple.

    Why people are breaking their heads because two got married or not? They are free to choose their partners in a free country. Change the name or their dress, others need not worry. They are not paying for their meals. When something doesn't function between them, they have to bear. Leave them alone.
