Mangaluru, Nov 30: Reann Roche of Mangaluru became the first and youngest skateboarder to skate the world's biggest skate ramp - the mega ramp in Victoria, Australia in November.

Roche had won the gold at the national level Skateboarding competition held in Bengaluru last year and had gone on to win the bronze at the Australia Skateboarding League (ASL) in Melbourne in March this year.

Reann Roche was determined to create history and set an example to other young skateboarders to go beyond their limits and skate everyday to stay fit and also challenge the fear by skateboarding 15 feet vert (as tall as a building) to 28 feet, 200 meters long mega ramp!

She now aims to develop elite athlete skills to win a medal at the Olympics female park skateboarding starting in Dubai next year.

Reann Roche had studied at St Theresa’s School and had learnt skating in Mangaluru at St Agnes College grounds at the age of 3.
