Kundapur: Home minister urged to give suitable position to former Byndoor MLA Gopala Poojary

Kundapur, Jun 8: An appeal was submitted by Kollur Congress committee to home minister Dr G Parameshwar urging to provide suitable position to former Byndoor MLA K Gopala Poojary, who has developed Byndoor constituency during his four terms as MLA.

The appeal was submitted to the minister after he arrived with his family to Kollur temple and offered Chandika Yaga.

The appeal said, “When K Gopal Poojary was the KSRTC president, he had provided bus services to rural areas of Udupi district. Permission was also granted for bus depot and well-equipped bus stand at Byndoor. In the background of this, if Gopal Poojary is given suitable post, it will help in organizing the party more in Udupi.”

In addition, demand was made for appointing permanent police for Kollur temple. Home minister was also felicitated on the occasion by Kollur Congress committee.

Vinay Sorake, Ramesh Ganiga, Greeshma, Prakash, Jayaprakash, Vasu, Vinayaka, Chandra and Harish were present.
