Udupi: Trinity Central School holds PTA meet for 2023-24

Udupi, Jun 2: Trinity Central School held its first PTA gathering of the academic year 2023-24 on May 27.

The program began by glorifying the almighty, through a prayer song sung by the teachers' choir, followed by lighting of the lamp symbolizing the light of the knowledge. The chief guest Fr Valerian Mendonsa, addressed the gathering with his words of wisdom.

As Trinity Central school is entering into its 15th year, the dignitaries inaugurated the Jubilee Year by unfurling the jubilee banner.

Chief guest Fr Valerian Mendonsa released the school annual magazine Tritv 2022-2023.

Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao introduced the teachers, support staff and transport crew to the parents and appreciated their determined service to the school. Principal Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo and the academic co-coordinator, Magdalina Lewis briefed about the academics. Pallavi Santhosh briefed the routes of the different buses plying from different areas.

The principal Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo formed the PTA committee and chose the new parent teacher association members. PTA president Krishna Shridharan briefed about the newly introduced PTA fund which will be used for the good purpose.

Prinicpal Fr Sunil Dominic Lobo addressing the gathering sought the support of parents towards the wholesome development of the school and the students.

There was a quick demonstration on installation and the usage of school mobile app.

Benita, welcomed the gathering. Steffi Saldanha delivered the vote of thanks. Edna Ammanna compered the programme. The principal Fr Dominic Sunil Lobo, vice principal Fr Ravi Rajesh Serrao, academic co-ordinator Magdelina Lewis, primary section head Poornima Devadiga, pre-primary section head Renita Monterio, PTA president Krishna Shridharan, PTA secretary Priya Furtado were present on the dais.
