Mangaluru: Orientation programme for I PU students held at Presidency Pre-University College

Mangaluru, May 30: Presidency School and College organised an orientation programme for the newly enrolled students to bridge the gap between parents and faculty and to familiarize the parents to the campus.

The major objectives of the programme was to make the parents aware of the academic aspects of the course and curriculum of the school and college.

The orientation session commenced by Arun Devaraj, assistant director, by giving the parents a brief profile of the school and college, highlighting its academic plans, administrative policies and overview on hostel facilities.

It was also enunciated by the principal, Shaila Saldhana, encouraged the parents and also advised them to guide students be dedicated, committed and focused on academic excellence.

However, the whole session was to give parents more clarity as their children embark on new journey. This was certainly a head start to a new beginning of learning and knowing together.
