Mangaluru, May 4: Writer, director and actor of pan-India blockbuster, Rishab Shetty has been nominated under the best actor-male and best director categories for the movie ‘Kantara’ in the Chittara Star Awards 2023.
Rishab Shetty had earlier won the Most Promising Actor Award at Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2023.
‘Kantara’ is produced by Vijay Kiragandur and Chaluve Gowda under the banner Hombale Films.
The film features Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Kishore Kumar G, Pramod Shetty, Achyuth Kumar and others.
Kantara depicts the culture of Tulunadu such as Daivaradhane, and gives glimpses of Kambala. The blockbuster movie has increased the pride of Kannadigas across the globe.
Kanatra has grossed over Rs 400 crore worldwide.
