From the editor’s desk :-

Dear Music lovers,

It is my unique privilege to welcome you once again to ‘Do..Re..Me..Fa.., your most favourite music column.  In the meantime, I extend my hearty thanks for your whole-hearted response to my previous music chord.  Undoubtedly, your great support and encouragement keeps me going in my marathon walk in the vast music arena.

Until recent times we could hardly find any soul who would care for “Konkani Music”.   Bravo! for a change in recent times we are really fortunate to see some drastic revolution in Konkani Music. The great example is the forthcoming music album “DINI DINI”  presented by none other than the world’s renowned web portal “Daijiworld.com”. This unique music album is a creation of Baab Melvyn Rodrigues, one of the greatest poets of Konkanni, the world has ever seen,  who is also known as the creator of “Konkanni Poets!”.  This music album has been prepared with a record breaking budget in Konkanni history with India’s renowned bollywood singers like Sunidhi Chauhan, Vasundara Das & Soumya Roah. The  singers in the album are: Guru Kiran, Lorna,  Rony D’Cunha, Adolf Jayatilak,  Warren, Joy Fernandes and Alwyn Fernandes. The music is rendered by film music director Alwyn Fernandes.  Undoubtedly, this music album is going to create a new history in Konkanni music arena.  Together with Do..Re..Me..Fa.. family I wish my beloved friend Melvyn Rodrigues a thrilling success in his maiden venture ‘DINI DINI”!

Now, let me play my sweet music chord.  With great joy, I am here today to present to you yet another super music star – A star which is shining brightly in the skies of Konkani music. He is an ‘Alter Christus’ by profession, an award winning teacher and above all is a renowned musician.  This superb star whom I am referring today is none other than Rev.Fr.Clement Mascarenhas, who won the prestigious “Best High School Teacher Award” recently.

As I play this beautiful chord today, you will surely have a great divine experience stuffed with sweet fragrance of music.

Thank you once again, see you next month… Same site…. Same column.

Until then, bye.

Yours in Do..Re..Me..Fa..,

Gerry D’Mello, Bendur.

I am very glad to see Fr.Clement Mascarenhas in Dajiworld.com. My son Rodney Ashwal was student of Rosario till first std. That time Fr. Clement was the Principle.Rev.Fr. was such an inspiration to my son.Rev. was a very down to earth person there was no difference in his life especially in my point of view.we only there for three yrs. then v moved to Bangalore. My son was an outstanding student in Rosario I just pray for Rosario School and the team and the Headmistress. Beginning I & my son missed the Rosario a lot later any how life should go on. But now also Rodney is an outstanding studnet of the school where he goes. The school name is Christ Academy ICSE school.Whenever we visit Mangalore we will come and visit the school. And best part is Rodney has not taken the trophy of General Proficiency Prize of 1st standard. It is in the school itself. Miss D'coto is such a wonderful teacher and a mother to me and my Rodney. Miss D'coto informed us to take the prize from the school. Hope we will visit the school very soon Now my son Rodney is in 7 th std.

We all wish Fr. Clement love and joy of the Lord always.May his voice and music loved by one and all and may God Use him for His Kingdom. Wish him very good luck and good health.

I like the quoting SING & PRAY, TEACH & LEARN, SERVE & LOVE.I want to follow in my family.

    with regards,

    sujyothi.
