Brian D A Fernandes (64), son of the late Gratian and Ethel, husband of Ophelia, father of Bradley / Merle and Beverly / Royden, grandfather of James, brother of the late Julian Fernandes, brother-in-law of Romaine, uncle of Jarryd / Carol, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026.

Funeral cortege leaves residence, ‘Chloe Dale’, Bendurwell, Mangalore at 9.15 am on Wednesday, April 22 for St Sebastian Church, Bendur, Mangalore. Funeral Mass at 10.15 am, followed by interment at St Sebastian's cemetery, Bendur, Mangalore.

Dear Fly Members, Sad to learn of the demise of Brian, who left for his heavenly abode suddenly at a very young age. I used to visit their house regularly, as Julian was my classmate. God has His own ways, and today he would be in heaven with his loving parents and Julian. As we mourn his loss, we celebrate the loving and friendly life he led, bringing joy to people’s lives. Rest in peace, Brian. My sympathies to the family. May God bless the family to bear this sudden loss.

Extremely difficult to accept the news of sudden departure of Brian. A down-to-earth thorough gentleman. Multi talented. I recollect the days we spent together along with his brother Ian in Bangalore in 1980's. Heartfelt condolences to all the family members. May Brian's soul rest in peace.

A kind , gentle, humane gentleman was Brian who did his 8th grade Trinity Exam in Communication Skills at Uxcel with distinction, became an exemplary toastmasters.His humour was one of its kind . We will fondly miss our dear distinguished toastmaster Brian Fernandes at every TMS meeting at Winners Club. He was indeed a role model as a speaker, a writer and an excellent human being
