Bantwal: Moving car catches fire; vehicle charred, inmates escape

Bantwal, Oct 23: A moving Omni van accidentally caught fire on National Highway 75 here on Sunday, October 23.

The incident occured while a family from Deralakatte was returning towards Mani. Immediately, the locals who rushed to the spot tried to douse the fire.

The passengers in the car got down from the car immediately.

Later, the fire was doused by bringing water from the local vehicle service center. The vehicle was completely charred in the incident.
