Mangalore, Apr 20: Tiding waves and beautiful and one of the intelligent creatures, dolphins have a gala time. It’s a delight to watch dolphins swim and jump mid sea. Though dolphin sighting has been a popular activity carried out in Goa with great fun since many years, it is now the turn of city beach-goers to enjoy dolphin sighting as the Panambur beach authority just a few days ago began the activity.

At Panambur, dolphin sighting trips are carried out at the beck and call off tourists from 7.00 am to 11.00 am in subsequent trips. Panambur’s scenic beauty and calm climatic atmosphere makes a cool destination for the activity. Already many foreign tourists have relished this safari.

No See - Half Amount Refund

Panambur beach authority gives, “No see – Half amount refund” offer. They make sure that tourists don’t go disappointed without sighting any dolphins. As the boat speeds away from the sandy shores of the beach and travels about 14 kilometers to reach mid sea, tourists can spot the dolphins of grey and black colour.

Two types of dolphins are found in this part of the sea namely common dolphin, delphinus capensis and spinner dolphin, stenella longirostris. In an hour-long adventure trip, once the tourists reach certain point they can spot dolphins jumping. The cost of this safari is Rs 3,000 per ride.

Interested can contact Yathish Bykampady, CEO, Panambur Beach Tourism Development Project on 94490 35570 to book a fun ride.

Looking at the beautiful pictures of vast blue sea gives me lots of peace and happiness to mind and heart. Feeling like sitting near the seashore and hearing the roaring sound of the waves, specially in rainy season. Such kind of peace and happiness we can expect only at worship places and at sea shores.
