Mangaluru: 'Central committee will handle Yatnal's outburst' - Nalin

Mangaluru, Jan 16: "People having grievances can convey the same to the top leaders of the party. But speaking against the party or its leaders in public places becomes indiscipline. Our leaders are observing these things. The issue of indiscipline on the part of Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has been brought to the notice of the central disciplinary committee and the committee will handle the issue," said state BJP president, Nalin Kumar Kateel.

He was speaking to the media persons at the BJP office here on Friday January 15.

He noted that after the cabinet expansion, some discordant notes were struck by some legislators. He advised them to convey whatever opinion or grievances they have within the party's framework in a way it is should be conveyed, and there is no need to cry hoarse in the public. "If an MLA expresses resentment at not being made minister, it is his feeling. But it should be expressed in a way which is acceptable to the party," he said.

About the CD issue, he noted that the chief minister has asked the concerned to show him the CD. He asked those having the CD to show it to the chief minister instead of speaking at will. On the statement of Siddaramaiah about resentment among BJP MLAs, he said it is the internal matter of the BJP and its leaders will handle it.
