Nov 28: Dakshina Kannada corona tally rises by 61; one death; Udupi reports 29 new cases

Mangaluru/Udupi, Nov 28: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 61 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday raising the tally to 31,848. Out of these, 599 cases are currently active.

A total of 3,57,855 samples have been tested. Out of which, 3,26,007 are negative.

As many as 44 people were discharged on Saturday. A total of 711 deaths have occurred so far, including one on Saturday.

Over 14,627 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 15,73,402 in fines have been collected by the authorities.

Udupi

The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 22,637, including 29 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 187 cases are currently active.

Over 2,41,187 samples have been tested so far, of which 2,18,550 have turned out negative.

As many as 21 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 187 deaths have occurred so far.
