Karkala:‘NINADA’ sound acoustic studio inaugurated at NMAMIT

Karkala, Nov 27: ‘NINADA’, a sound acoustic studio was recently inaugurated by Vishal Hegde, trustee of Nitte Education Trust and pro-chancellor (Admin) of Nitte (Deemed to be University) ar NMAMIT campus.

This studio of the college is established under a VGST sponsored project titled ‘Centre of Innovation for studies on Automatic Natural Language Processing and Speech Disorder Problems in Kannada Language’. The project is being carried out by Dr Surendra Shetty, head of the department of MCA as the principal investigator and Dr Sarika Hegde, associate professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering as the co-investigator.

Rajendra, director (Finance & Planning) of Nitte group, Dr Niranjan N Chiplunkar, principal of NMAMIT, Professor Yogeesh Hegde, registrar of Nitte Education Trust (Nitte Campus) were the dignitaries present during the function.
