50% discount announced on traffic fines for Ajman residents

Ajman, Nov 23: A 50 per cent discount on traffic fines was announced in Ajman on the occasion of UAE's 49th National Day.

The scheme, which begins on December 2, will be applicable for a month, the Ajman Police announced on their social media handle.

The discount will be applied to all type of fines issued in the emirate of Ajman before November 23, 2020.

Violations such as driving a vehicle endangering the lives of motorists, or making changes in the vehicle’s engine or chassis are not covered under this scheme, said a report by Khaleej Times.
