Puttur, Oct 29: The body of Madhushree (26) from Sullia Kallugundi was found from a pond at Aampya Kolya near here on Wednesday October 28.

Madhushree was working as an employee in a private hospital in the city. She was staying in a hostel here.

On Wednesday, she had left to meet her grandmother living at Sampya Kolya. In the afternoon, at around 1.30 pm she had gone out on the pretext of visiting the plantation. She did not return for long. The family members were looking for her whereabouts when her body was found from a pond near their house.

So far, no proper reason could be attributed to support the suicide theory. Puttur police are investigating the case of unnatural death.
