Mangaluru: St Agnes College proudly announces Tania D'Souza as its first ACCA affiliate

Mangaluru, Oct 20: St Agnes College's Tania D’Souza has cleared the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK) exams and become the first Agnesian from the BCom with ACCA integrated batch to be an ACCA affiliate. She was the first rank holder of the BCom with ACCA batch of 2019.

She has also earned Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business and Affiliate Membership from ACCA, UK. She is currently working as a junior accountant at Charterhouse, Dubai. She is the daughter of Trinita and Leo D’Souza of Valencia, Mangaluru.

St Agnes College is the first college in Mangaluru to begin BCom with ACCA integrated batch in the year 2016 and is successfully running it in the fifth year.

The college congratulates Tania D’Souza who has achieved dual degree in BCom and ACCA and wishes her a bright future ahead.

    this is a very tough examination...the theory part consists of 13 papers which test the depths of student's knowledge of all aspects of accounting. after passing 13 papers, student becomes ACCA associate. This will be followed by 3 years of practical experience and 1 more paper. After completion of this, candidate is awarded ACCA membership...

    Much tougher than Indian CA/Amrican CPA...
